We offer you this beautiful and classic association of sphalerite and galena from the Madan mine in Bulgaria (year 2008).
Galena (the lighter gray) has a more "subdued" or satin metallic luster on certain faces, absorbing light more uniformly.
Black sphalerite presents a much more vivid luster. In the video, during rotation, it produces very intense micro-reflections (shimmers) due to the multitude of small facets that act like mirrors.
